Biography

Dr. Larsen joined Texas Health Care from Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Scott and White Memorial Hospital, where she completed her post-graduate training. There she was awarded Best Paper and Best Presentation at the Annual Bunkley Day Proceedings. Dr. Larsen’s research included AntiMullerian Hormone Levels in Patients Treated with Assisted Reproductive Techniques and Use of a Novel Direct Thrombin Inhibitor in Human Pregnancy. She also won the Thomas J. Kuehl Resident Award for Excellence in Scholarship. Dr. Larsen received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Baylor University and was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Medical Honor Society. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. During medical school, Dr. Larsen participated in the National Institutes of Health Summer Research Program, was president of the OB/GYN Student Association, and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. As a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Larsen has served as the Junior Fellow Vice-Chair and Junior Fellow Chair, Section 3, District XI. She is also a member of the Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
