Biography

Emily Bradbury Maas, MD is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed an OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and Parkland Memorial Hospital where over 15,000 babies are born each year.

Dr. Maas is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. Dr. Maas is especially interested in minimally invasive surgery, infertility, sonography and high-risk pregnancies. She received the Rigoberto Santos Award for Excellence in Sonography at UT Southwestern.

When asked what drew her to the field of medicine, Dr. Maas said, “As the youngest of three girls, women’s health care was very important to me, thus making OB/GYN a natural choice. I have had the honor of delivering two nephews, which is by far the coolest experience!”

Dr. Maas is an avid Texas Rangers fan and loves Fort Worth, which she describes as “country living in the city.” When she’s not working, Dr. Maas enjoys running and fitness, baseball and traveling with her husband, Steven Maas. They have a son named Nolan.
