“I personally enjoy all aspects of the practice Obstetrics and Gynecology. From the first time I delivered a baby, I was hooked. The joy I get to share in delivering health care to women is hard to describe. I never get tired of interacting with my patients. I also enjoy seeing women through the span of their lives. It might begin in the teenage years, progress through having children and then evolve into providing the needed medical care in midlife and on into menopause. The chance to share in these women’s lives is very special.

I also enjoy the variety in my profession. The minute I think I will be bored seeing patients in the office, there is that baby to deliver. When I think delivering a baby is becoming too routine there is the surgical patient to take care of. Obviously, there is never a dull moment. It is rare to have a profession where “Thank You” is an everyday word. I get to say “Thank You” to my patients every day for allowing me to be involved in their lives. And of course, I get many Thank You’s from my patients.”
